Getting started
Kryptonim provides a seamless on-ramp service that enables you to effortlessly purchase cryptocurrency using fiat currencies. Please note that while we facilitate the acquisition of digital assets, we do not provide a wallet service. As part of our streamlined process, you will need to supply a personal wallet address to which your newly acquired cryptocurrencies will be securely transferred and stored. Currently, Kryptonim supports wallet providers within the Polygon network, which is renowned for its robust support of the Ethereum ecosystem. If you're new to the world of cryptocurrency, we can suggest some of the most reliable wallets, such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet, to get you started with confidence. For seasoned crypto enthusiasts, we advise verifying that your existing wallet is compatible with both the network and the specific asset you wish to acquire through our service. It's essential to ensure this compatibility to prevent any potential loss of your crypto assets due to network or asset incompatibility.
You can purchase crypto with your credit or debit card (we support Visa, MasterCard and Maestro) or bank transfer via Volt. The last option is limited to EUR transactions and countries where Volt operates.
No, using Kryptonim does not require registration, but in order to carry out transactions using cryptocurrencies, it is necessary to provide an email address (plus the billing address for the United Kingdom, USA and Canada), as well as to read and accept our Terms and Conditions.

Transactions and Fees
Yes, the minimum amount spent is 10 EUR or its equivalent in other currencies.
Transactions usually take only 2–20 minutes, but there are many things contributing to the processing times: checking your documents, bank verification and even network congestion. The payment method you choose is also important. A bank transfer is definitely slower than a card payment - in rare cases it can take up to 3 business days.
Nothing can be done if the transaction went through, as crypto transfers are irreversible by default. Kryptonim will not be able to issue any refund in case your crypto was incorrectly sent to somebody else or even a non-existing wallet.
As soon as your transaction is completed you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to blockchain explorer, where the status of each transaction can be followed.
You may only resign if you haven’t paid yet, then your transaction simply will not be completed. Once paid and accepted, the crypto transaction is irreversible.
All cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on the publicly available blockchain. It is possible to find the record of your transaction using a blockchain explorer.
If you wish to find more information about your transaction in the blockchain, then feel free to contact our support team: support@kryptonim.com and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
First of all, double-check if all the info provided is correct and up to date. You may also read our AML/KYC Policy and Terms and Conditions to confirm that you comply with the requirements.
If none of these seems to be the problem’s reason, please contact us via the support icon on our website and email address: contact@support.kryptonim.com.
We ensure there are no hidden or sudden fees to catch you off guard. Please be aware that the final fee for each fiat-to-crypto transaction is composed of a processing fee and a network fee. While our processing fee is a standardized charge for our services, the network fee is subject to change due to factors like the current network congestion. This network fee reflects the demand on the network at the time of your transaction and is determined by the blockchain network itself, not by Kryptonim. We are dedicated to providing you with a smooth and efficient transaction experience while keeping you informed about the costs associated with network dynamics.
The discrepancy is due to the fact that the applicable price is the price at the time we receive payment, not the price at the time you placed your order. When you enter the amount you want to spend on a crypto asset, Kryptonim shows the expected value of it. The final price may be slightly lower or higher due to price fluctuations on the cryptocurrency market.
Be aware that the probability of this difference increases with the length of the payment process (by card it takes several hours, while bank transfer even a few days).
If you received our confirmation email it means that Kryptonim had already sent the purchased asset to you. However, processing time on blockchain may take longer, causing delay in delivering cryptocurrency to your wallet.
Transaction’s been completed on your side, but we’re still waiting for the bank to accept your payment. As soon as it happens you will receive an email confirming that the payment window can be closed.
If our service cannot be provided, due to the fault of the Kryptonim platform or app, your fiat will be sent back to the original payment method within 2-5 business days, depending on banks’ procedures.
Security and Verification
As an EU-regulated on-ramp tool for purchasing cryptocurrencies, we are obliged to apply financial security measures. Part of our commitment is preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activities. To assure these we conduct due diligence procedures that include verifying your identity, address, and source of funds for all our customers.
For the ID verification we accept:
• passport,
• ID card,
• driving license,
• residence permit;
and the document should be valid for at least 1 month from the day of placing the order.
Verification also involves executing the commands of the facial recognition tool, so make sure the camera on your device is working.
Currently Kryptonim’s offer is not available for residents of several regions including, but not limited to, the following: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia and Syria.
